About 6 years ago, when Esperanto course was published on Duolingo, I decided to give it a try. Esperanto uses additional letters so obviously I had to create a custom keyboard layout to type them.
At that time, I had already been dabbling with Spanish, which also has extra characters. Having to constantly switch between three layouts (English, Spanish and Esperanto) sounded really bad so I decided to make my own keyboard layout which would be compatible with all three languages.
A few hours later I had the perfect keyboard layout, Engsperantoñol. I loved it and used it for a few years.
Fast forward to 2022 and it turns I lost the file. I searched through all of my drives, memory sticks, dug out my old Google Drive account, asked my friends and sadly the layout was nowhere to be found.
I decided to recreate it, this time without Esperanto support because I have stopped using the language.
So voilà, here it is, in all its glory, the Engspañol keyboard layout: Engspañol Pro. It only works on Macs though, however you can extract it and probably convert it to support other operating systems.
