I had been looking for my EarPods with the Lightning connector for a week or two, and I couldn't find them anywhere. A few days later I decided to do the laundry. The washing machine seemed to make more banging noises than usual, but it didn't bother me enough to pause it and try to look inside.
One hour later I opened the door and was greeted by the EarPods. They looked so funny in there, whiter than ever.
I decided to leave them out of the dryer, gave them two days to dry in a more "natural" way and tested them out.
They worked!
